Wieteke Hendrikx

Middelburg, the town where I have lived since 2002, has always captured my imagination. It wasn’t until late 2016 that I began painting this beautiful town, and suddenly my own unique style emerged: colourful, playful and cheerful. I called it ‘Middelburg Schilderkunst’. In 2019, I began taking part in Middelburg’s monthly Art and Culture Route under this name, and I’m still a participant today.

As well as the city scenes and other works featured on this website, I also create other pieces centred on nature in the broadest sense of the word. Please visit www.wietekehendrikx.nl to see these.
